Lara Everly
Lara Everly is a director, writer and actress born and raised in Los Angeles. She celebrates female-driven comedy and loves working with children. Her films have played the film festival circuit around the world including the year-long Lunafest, winning awards and procuring distribution with Oprah.com, Amazon and Shorts HD. Her film Free to Laugh teaching improv and comedy to women on parole and probation was acquired by New Wave Entertainment who is attached to distribute a feature version of the concept. Lara’s all-female pilot presentation Patriettes – a musical comedy about a mock government summer camp for teenagers is currently being pitched to networks. Her exuberant, visual directing has been commissioned by high-profile brands including Walmart, Little Tikes, Bloomlife and Schwarzkopf. Everly loves directing web series, sketch comedy and advocacy videos working with a range of platforms including Refinery29, FunnyorDie, Scary Mommy, Awestruck, Babycenter and more. Lara just wrapped shooting, Milk Money, a ten-episode documentary series following millennial parents as they navigate the rising cost of raising children. Continuing her marriage of advocacy and comedy she is pre-production for a video collaboration with Swing Left for the upcoming election.
